Kamal to use technology

Technology has come to Kamal Hassan’s help to interact with journalists during the audio launch of his forthcoming film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’, scheduled to be held in Singapore on Saturday.
Since the function is taking place abroad and it is practically tough to take all Chennai journalists there, the event will be shown live to scribes through video conferencing at a star hotel in Chennai.
Also, Kamal will interact with media persons in Chennai through video conferencing and answer their questions. “This initiative is to ensure that journalists catch all the action live,” organisers said.
On November 20, the audio release function will be held at Singapore Expo, Max Pavillion before a 7000 audience as a three-hour extravaganza. The event would feature the Ulaganayagan doing a special performance along with music director Devi Sri Prasad and his costars Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha.
Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin on Red Giant Movies banner, ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is directed by K S Ravikumar, whose earlier films with Kamal were blockbusters.
Durban invites Rajini kanth

Superstar Rajinikanth’s reach is something which is beyond boundaries. And Durban city’s Deputy Mayor Loganathan Naidoo has proved this now by expressing interest to partner with the top actor.
Naidoo, who was on a visit to Chennai to strengthen his city’s association with the Tamil Nadu’s capital, said, “Rajinikanth is one of the biggest superstars in the south- Indian film industry. I would like to meet him.”
The Deputy Mayor of one of the largest cities of South Africa added: “We want to attract the south-Indian film industry to Durban to make movies here. That would help boost tourism.”
On Wednesday, a six-member team headed by Naidoo held discussion with Chennai Mayor M Subramanian regarding a ‘sister city' partnership to promote cultural ties and friendship.
“Chennai is very strong in information technology, textiles, motor manufacturing and the movie industry. We will be looking at how businesses based here could tie up agreements with them. We would also like to link SA companies with them,” Naidoo, who belongs to the erstwhile Arcot district, said.

Vijay dances to 'Jalsa' tunes in Villu

'Jalsa' a Telugu film that starred Pavan Kalyan and Ileana featured music by Devi Sri Prasad. Interestingly the music director has taken his own tune from one of the songs in 'Jalsa' and used it for 'Villu'…. probably because of the 'appeal' factor.
So all you Vijay fans out there….get a feel of what the song is going to be like by following the link below.
The 'Villu' music album will be released on the 14th of this month
